She Can Help Me is a fee-based travel agency. Although some bookings may earn a commission, the agency doesn’t rely on them.

The fees reflect Sheila’s experience, the quality of her work, and her commitment to making your special occasion truly special.

By relying on fees instead of commission, Sheila can suggest flights, hotels, rentals, activities, etc., based on your preferences and budget, not on what she’d earn.

This also lets you price-shop without guilt. If you find the same hotel or activity at a lower price, you can book it on your own without jeopardizing the agency’s financial stability.

With this pay structure, you can trust that the travel plans or advice you receive have your best interests in mind.

What She offers

Travel Concierge

She will find flights, accommodations, rentals, activities, etc., and book most of them for you.

As of January 2025, she no longer books flights or Airbnbs.

This includes travel assistance while you are traveling. If you need help, contact Sheila at any point during your trip.

$200 per travel day or $1,400 for a 7-day trip

Travel Plans

She will create a trip plan that includes suggested flights, accommodations, restaurants, points of interest, and more. You are then free to take the trip plan and book on your own.

Since you made the reservations, Sheila can’t contact the airlines, hotels, etc., on your behalf. You can add on limited concierge services for an additional fee.

$150 per travel day $1,050 for a 7-day trip

Travel Advice

She will review your existing trip plans and give feedback on oversights, opportunities, and other considerations.

Travel support is not included.

If you want to switch to Travel Concierge or Travel Plans services, the fee will count towards the new total.

She can help you save time and cash!

Sheila has the tools and strategies to help you save thousands of dollars and points by maximizing your credit card points and airline miles. Each award travel search will include multiple flight and/or hotel options and breakdowns to help determine what’s best for you.

$100 for award flights search
$100 for award hotel(s) search
$150 for award flights and hotel(s) search

Sheila also offers consultations on credit card strategies for both personal cards and business cards. She will review your current credit card(s), and provide suggestions on what to open, downgrade or close to help you achieve your travel and financial goals.

Why hire a travel agent?

Travel agents aren’t for everyone or even every trip.

However, your honeymoon, anniversary, or bucket-list trip deserves the proper care and attention appropriate to the occasion.

But you can’t do that when you’re busy planning a wedding, taking care of kids, or finishing up a project at work.

That’s where a travel consultant like Sheila comes in:

  • She puts in the time that you don’t have:
    In addition to her own adventures, she scrolls through the reels, watches YouTube videos, reads blogs, and more.

  • She knows what to consider:
    She offers her perspective and collaborates with you to build a fulfilling and flexible agenda for your trip.

  • She makes it easy for you:
    Then, she packages everything using the method of your choice (e.g., Google Docs, PDFs, interactive apps, or Notion sites) and adds your custom Google Maps.

You may enjoy some aspects of trip planning, but if you no longer have the capacity or you’re running out of time, She can help you.

 FAQs

  • Travel Concierge is a comprehensive service. Sheila books on your behalf (except flights and AirBnBs). You’ll receive concierge services throughout your trip.

    On the other hang, Travel Plans includes a trip plan that you book on your own. You won’t receive any support during your trip.

  • If you purchased a travel plan, you can add limited travel assistance for an additional $150 per trip.

    Since Sheila did not book on your behalf, she’s unable to communicate with the airline, hotel, etc. on your behalf.

    However, she can assist with making new reservations or answer simple travel questions.

  • After much consideration, Sheila no longer books flights for our clients.

    This allows clients to book flights directly with the airline or through their preferred 3rd party. They can then cancel or modify their flight on their own, and deal with the airline directly if something goes wrong.

  • Due to privacy concerns, we do not book award flights or hotels on your behalf.

    This process typically requires logging into personal accounts which makes both parties susceptible to security issues.

  • Unfortunately, travel agents aren’t allowed to book Airbnbs stays or experiences for their clients.

    Sheila will find the stay or experience and you will have to book on your own.

  • Commissions made everyone uncomfortable and didn't work for her business model.

    Traditional travel agents are brokers between you and the suppliers of hotels, tours, rentals, etc. They can only book with certain suppliers on specific platforms to earn a commission.

    Think of their services like a pre-fixe menu at a farm-to-table restaurant. They can only make a menu with ingredients limited to those farms.

    But, by relying on fees instead of commission, Sheila is free to suggest things that don't earn commission, such as Airbnbs and free walking tours.

    Think of Sheila’s services like an à la carte menu. She can source the ingredients from anywhere and make whatever you want.

    With fees, she gets paid fairly for her time and expertise. With commissions, she’d get the margins.

    And honestly, the commission is so small that it's not worth making anyone uncomfortable.
